Join Kathy and Charley Wood as they share with you the magical experience of a week in Tuscany ! The Chianti Experience isn’t a typical tour. You won’t be herded from one tourist site to the next in a pack, changing hotels continuously. Your base will be the beautiful village of Panzano in Chianti, where, as your hosts, Kathy and Charley share their first-hand experience as avid travelers to this region of Italy.

Highlights of the tour include visits to the neighboring towns of Greve, Castellina and Radda as well as the small hilltop villages of Volpaia and Montefioralle. A day “beyond Chianti” is also planned and you will explore the stunning Val d’Orcia with visits to the famous hill towns of Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino. Also included is a day trip to the city of Siena and tours to several local wineries to learn more about the famous Chianti wines.

The Salzkammergut Experience

…..A personalized small group tour in Austria


 July 7th -July 14th 2012

The Salzkammergut region is located outside of Salzburg and is one of the most beautiful places in Austria.  It located not far from Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart and a lovely town in its own right.  The entire region is listed on the UNESCO world heritage sight and it the home of a large number of beautiful lakes.

The highlights of this tour include visits to the lovely villages of St. Gilgen, Mondsee, St. Wolfgang and Hallstatt; a trip to the Salt Mines above Hallstatt where you will go deep into the mountain an an evening in Salzburg that includes dinner and a classical concert.  There is also the possibility of day trips to Berchtesgaden, Germany and Lake Königssee or a full day in Salzburg.
